The World of the Working.

yeah, it really sucks because I can't really go too deep into what I do, but I can tell you that things have been pretty busy, what with work related issues and trying to find the free time to work on personal projects (Zero Team, Red Moon, etc.) yeah, it might be awhile before I update again.

Red Moon's going on hold. I simply don't have the time to think up ways to continue the story as is. Maybe when I go "mess cranking" in a few weeks I'll have some time to write down some notes in between washing dishes and wiping down surfaces.

Yeah, my life is really that interesting. [sarcasm] Go Navy! [/sarcasm]

Overhauling it. Looking back, the writing was terrible, the characters were too stiff, and development was taking forever and a half.

Basically, Kirei led a riot, which left what I had in my head in torn shreds on the deck. However, in attempting to piece the story back together, I thought of something: go back to your original idea, there was nothing wrong with it. Then Nima got her two cents in, and lets just say I'll never hear the end of it from her if I write that out (before her personality developed, she was pretty much going to be expendable clue #1.)

So I got to thinking some more, and came up with an idea everybody liked: start with the war and work characters in from there. I already have chapter one half written with ink on wood, just have to finish it and type it when I get my new WoW-machine on Tuesday.

It will be better than the original, maybe even better than the draft rewrite that you see to the left of here. Here's hoping.

And I had nothing backed up. My only hope for continuing Red Moon without starting again from te beginning is if the HD can be salvaged from the wreckage of what was once a faithful companion.

I was almost done with Chapter 6, too. Bummer, it just started getting good, too. (as a rule of thumb, I have no clue as to what I'm writing, my characters do whatever the hell they feel like. I just kind of nudge them in the right direction when they go off on their own wild tangent. It was slow because people weren't where they needed to be.)

Anyway, don't expect anything new for awhile. as for Delly....

Red Moon: too many ideas

Yeah, just barely into this story, and I've already thought of two sequels and an alternate universe story involving more of a future involvement (no spoilers for you!)

Sad thing is. I'm nowhere near finished with the firsat story, so it'll be awhile before I get everything organized into a coherent fashion. My notes are all mixed in together with eachother due to bad file naming.

So, Until i sift through all my notes for Red Moon, anyone have a writing challenge for me? Taking my mind off of this could help me just a bit.
